Greasy Zoes

The fact this place has been here for so long and I didn't find out about it until last year still hurts my sole. When I say this is the greatest of great restaurants, please don’t underestimate the enormity of what I am preaching. Every dish is an adventure and sure, if you have the matched wines, it’s a little hard to identify what the last 3 or 4 courses but that is all part of the journey. To have wine explained to you in a way that isn’t condescending is an artform that should be taught at culinary school and the explanation of each dish is equally as important as the offering itself. I’ve gone on three separate occasions now and feedback was consistent that this place is a benchmark of culinary brilliance. It’s not cheap, but it shouldn’t be. Go to the footy club canteen if you’re after a cheap meal but if you’re after an extraordinary experience go here. There is zero chance you will regret it. This is the number one restaurant in Australia right now. Get around it.

Incredible Meal at greasy Zoe’s we loved every minute .the friendliest people and masons food . Really great atmosphere that makes you completely relaxed . Something that really topped our night was the non alcoholic pairing menu we highly recommend. It is incredibly difficult to find good non alcoholic drinks and these are unbelievable attention to detail and creative care gone too to the pairing highly recommended

I had come across Greasy Zoe’s some time ago and decided my husbands 30th was a good excuse to finally go. We were so impressed! The food is just incredible, the menu makes it sound so simple although it clearly isn’t. So much effort has gone into planning, preparing and cooking! My husband very much enjoyed the matched wines and we absolutely loved that it was small and intimate with music playing from a record player. A truly memorable dining experience for us and we can’t wait to go again.
